About

I created apeurostudy.com after realizing that I was doing terribly in my AP Euro class. On my first quiz, I got a 17/20, and then I got an 80% on the test over that chapter. Both of the scores are simply terrible for me. To try to fix this problem, I began to actually study, something I hadn’t done for any class ever before. Part of my studying involved taking detailed notes. Later, I would start writing my notes in Obsidian, which gave me the idea of making a website. I had been experimenting with the Hugo CMS for a while and I realized that I could take my markdown files and convert them to a website. I chose the Hextra theme, because I thought it would work well for this site and so far that has proven to be the case. Most of the stuff on this site is written in Vim, Neovim, and sometimes Obsidian (Although neovim is definitely better and anyone who tells you otherwise is a LIAR!) So yeah, that’s basically the story of this site. Also, check out my other website lucabeltran.com.
